The Best Peanut Butter Cookies

What do I know about peanut butter cookies? Absolutely nothing, other than I have made them in the past and making a really good one is not too easy. I tend to like those that taste like a spoonful of the creamy stuff.....

Here is how I rate them:
Trois Pommes Patisserie
The peanut butter sandwich from Trois Pommes Patisserie in Park Slope Brooklyn. A delicious, crumbly shot of peanut butter straight into the veins. Chef Emily Isaac left the Union Square Cafe to bake these specifically for me (that's the way I see it.)

Treat Truck
Treat Truck's peanut butter sandwich with peanut butter filling. The first bite weakened my knees, the second knocked me out for the count.

I will add to the list as I find more....

  1. Ok.. so this is The Puff List... means MY LIST... wahaha.. Ok, enough of self love.. now back to peanut butter cookies..

Trois Pommes is also my Number ONE choice... not only is the peanut butter taste intense, the cookie itself is so light that it crumbles easily.. making it absolutely crumblicious... and of course Gorilla the King didn't mention about the 4 other wonderful breakfast entrees we had.. Raspberry jelly donut, sticky bun, turtle bar and whoopie ball (i think)... verdict.. ALL good...

As for Treat Truck, the PB cookie was good but I prefer Trois Pommes lighter cookie.. as for their Cupcake in a Cone.. 5 out of 5 for originality.. In fact, the cone was calling out to me... buy me! eat me! Bought the choc one but was rather disappointed as it was way too sweet for me.
